Bedřich Smetana – Czech musical composer

Bedřich Smetana was a prominent Czech composer from the 19th century, best known for his nationalistic music that celebrated Czech culture and identity. He is especially renowned for his symphonic poem „Vltava“, part of the larger cycle „Má vlast“, which vividly portrays the flow of the Vltava river.
