Basilica di Santa Croce (Basilica of the Holy Cross), located in Florence, Italy, is a magnificent example of Italian Gothic architecture and serves as the final resting place for many notable figures, including Michelangelo and Galileo Galilei. In front of the basilica stands the Monument to Dante Alighieri, the work of sculptor Enrico Pazzi.
